AMCON Seminole has been quiet online; however, we've been QUITE busy as we are wrapping up a 6 WEEK basic training cycle and beginning a new one. Our initial training covers the following:
• Situational Awareness
• Unarmed Self Defense
• First Aid / Tactical Combat Casualty Care
• Communication protocols
• Marksmanship (from weapons function & capability to proper zeroing, and marksmanship skills)
WHY? Our initial training focuses on building a foundation of complementary preparedness skills, which is also the first step to developing a preparedness mindset. A mindset of knowing and doing what is necessary, versus what is seemingly obvious or convenient.
WHEN: 10 NOVEMBER 2020 (Birthdate of the U.S.M.C. Happy Birthday Marines!)
HOW: Email [email protected] BEFORE 30 OCT and include RECRUITING in the subject line along with a brief note as to why you want to join AMCON Seminole.
Training is held in Seminole County on TUE & WED at 1830 (6 PM).

For you local HAMs out there!!!
There will be an 80m State HF comms net on +/- 3.850 MHz tonight at 730pm EST. This will be the first of its kind so lets make sure we have a good turn out!
Following that net on the same freq, there will be a SE Regional net at 8pm EST. This is a recurring net that happens every Sunday, and we get check-ins ranging from NC to FL!
If you're not a licensed HAM operator, you can still check us out. You don't need a license to listen! You can listen to us on the Orlando SDR radio here (http://sdr.n4but.com/). I'll post a short "how to" in the comments.
